Woofun AI reports that NetEase Ling introduced the FLEX satellite Internet computer and OneLinQ Edge, the inaugural edge intelligent computing system for satellite communications, at the 2026 MWC Shanghai Leadership Stage on June 25.

The system integrates mature consumer electronics technologies, including video encoding, intelligent compression, and edge computing, into satellite applications. By leveraging proprietary edge intelligence chips alongside H.265 encoding, bandwidth estimation, and intelligent coding, it addresses high data costs, performance lag, and poor image quality in satellite communications.
