Woofun AI reports that Layer 1 blockchain MANTRA, which specializes in the tokenization of real-world assets, is set to be acquired by its strategic investor, Inveniam Capital Partners. The two entities disclosed the transaction on Tuesday, marking a significant consolidation move within the RWA sector.

This acquisition follows a period of volatility for MANTRA, whose native token suffered a substantial decline in 2025. The market downturn necessitated internal restructuring and workforce reductions at the company. Prior to these operational adjustments in August of the previous year, Inveniam had already committed $20 million in capital to MANTRA, establishing the foundation for this eventual buyout.
