Per Woofun AI, Al Arabiya TV has disclosed the comprehensive terms of the 14-point Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, presenting a more detailed framework than previously released by Iranian media. The agreement mandates an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities across all fronts, including Lebanon, alongside mutual commitments to respect sovereignty and refrain from future hostile actions. A critical timeline requires both parties to negotiate a final agreement within 60 days, extendable by mutual consent, with the US committing to lift its naval blockade and withdraw regional forces within 30 days of the final accord.
The terms specify that the US will terminate all current sanctions, including UN Security Council and IAEA resolutions, while granting waivers for Iranian crude oil and petrochemical exports.
Concurrently, the US Treasury will facilitate the release of approximately $240 billion in frozen Iranian funds and support a minimum of $300 billion in reconstruction aid. Iran reaffirms its commitment to never develop nuclear weapons, addressing enriched uranium disposition while maintaining its current nuclear program status quo until the final deal.
Notably, issues regarding Iran's missile program and support for resistance organizations have been removed from the negotiation agenda, with the final agreement requiring approval via a legally binding UN Security Council resolution.
