Parithosh Jayanthi, a DevOps engineer at the Ethereum Foundation, confirmed that while a precise activation date remains undetermined, substantial progress has been achieved. The upgrade is anticipated to go live on the mainnet in the second half of 2026, signaling a key milestone in the network's evolution.
