Once acquired, these credits reside within the Tempo wallet and are universally applicable across any service supporting the MPP standard.

The underlying infrastructure is powered by licensed payment provider Coinflow, ensuring that merchants receive real-time settlements in USDC.e on the Tempo network. These credits function as prepaid, non-refundable balances exclusively designated for MPP services. The MPP protocol itself represents an open standard for machine-to-machine payments, co-developed by Stripe and Tempo, designed to empower AI Agents to autonomously settle costs for API services including LLM inference, computing resources, and data access.
