Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that total cryptocurrency liquidations across the network reached $173 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions dominated the forced closures, accounting for $102 million, while short positions contributed $71.3171 million to the total volume.

Bitcoin-specific liquidations revealed a divergence in trader sentiment, with short positions totaling $28.0451 million compared to $19.386 million in long positions. Ethereum followed a similar trend, with $16.5589 million in long liquidations versus $11.0436 million in shorts. Globally, 77,945 traders were liquidated, with the largest single event occurring on Bybit, where a BTCUSD position worth $2.4157 million was closed.
