Attackers successfully constructed valid message proofs that, despite lacking corresponding legitimate MessageSent events on the Taiko chain, were erroneously accepted by the 以太坊 mainnet. This exploit allowed the registration and retrieval of fabricated cross-chain messages, ultimately facilitating the unauthorized release of assets from the vault.
