Woofun AI reports that Ethlabs, a new non-profit organization, has been established by former Ethereum Foundation researchers to drive the next phase of ETH growth. The initiative secures support from ETH co-founder Joe Lubin, alongside major wallet providers Bitmine Immersion Technologies and SharpLink, aiming to prepare the network for widespread institutional adoption.
Ethlabs targets enhancing ETH’s performance, interoperability, and security to accommodate surging demand from stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and autonomous AI applications. Founded by five former senior researchers who previously led critical upgrades, the organization emerges against a backdrop of criticism regarding the Ethereum Foundation’s competitiveness and recent departures of key personnel.
