Woofun AI reports that Google has launched an incubator program targeting AI startups founded by former employees to secure early cloud and chip customers. Backed by the Google AI Futures Fund, the initiative recruits 10 to 20 ventures for 12 weeks of support. Selected teams receive up to $100,000 in funding alongside $350,000 in Google Cloud and AI credits.

Mentorship is provided by ex-executives including Marissa Mayer, while partners Xoogler.co and Key Studio facilitate access to a network of 35,000 members. This strategy aims to cultivate future major clients before public technology releases.
