Per Woofun AI, ZeroToOne Founder and CEO Kai-Fu Lee disclosed plans for an initial public offering in 2027 alongside preparations for a new financing round. The company’s international strategy deliberately excludes the U.S. market to navigate regulatory complexities, instead targeting Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa with a specialized focus on "Sovereign AI." Lee has been appointed to the Kazakhstan National AI Commission to assist with multilingual voice localization challenges involving Russian, Kazakh, and English.
Commercially, ZeroToOne reports a conversion rate of 10% to 15% for its First Project, favoring "co-creation" and joint venture models for enterprise and government clients, such as the partnership with CP Group for AI-driven poultry farming. Internally, the firm employs a flat structure supported by AI tools that analyze meetings, predict attrition, and simulate strategies. Lee warned that traditional middle management roles focused solely on information relay will become obsolete in the AI 2.0 era.
