Woofun AI reports that Micron disclosed a rise in strategic customer agreements from one to sixteen, covering roughly 20% of DRAM and one-third of NAND shipments. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra stated these deals will "fundamentally change" the business model, shifting the company toward an AI infrastructure supplier role with enhanced revenue visibility.
DRAM revenue climbed 343% year-on-year to $31.3 billion, while NAND revenue rose 361% to $9.9 billion. Management indicated that supply tightness will likely extend beyond 2027 due to the complexity of new fab construction. Capital expenditures are projected at approximately $10 billion for the current quarter and $27 billion for FY2026, with MU shares gaining nearly 16% in after-hours trading.
