Woofun AI reports that Micron (MU) CEO anticipates a memory demand cycle lasting decades, driven primarily by humanoid robotics. The executive noted that these robots require approximately 10 times more memory than current L2+ autonomous driving vehicles, with this demand wave expected to commence within the current decade.
Micron also highlighted that on-device AI value propositions and device replacement backlogs will jointly stimulate memory growth. Industry figures including TSMC’s Chairman and Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk regard humanoid robots as the next major trend, positioning physical AI as a key development direction.
