Woofun AI reports that Mirendil has finalized a $200 million seed funding round, led by a16z and Kleiner Perkins. The round also saw participation from NVIDIA. The company's founding team comprises 20 researchers and engineers previously affiliated with Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind, and OpenAI. Andreessen Horowitz stated that Mirendil is developing a system helping anyone conduct AI research and development, training models with expertise in cutting-edge AI research fields, and creating products around it to form a system capable of autonomously researching engineering problems and continuously advancing without human intervention.
