Woofun AI reports that the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration released the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a New Energy System." The strategy establishes key distribution corridors for essential energy products, directing power from northern wind and solar bases and southwestern integrated hubs toward load centers. This initiative increases west-to-east electricity transmission capacity by over 80 million kilowatts. Coal transport systems will be optimized with enhanced collection networks for Tangbao, Wari, Haoji, and Shuohuang corridors, while Xinjiang’s coal network adopts a "one-axis, two-wings, multiple-link" layout. National oil and gas infrastructure will expand by 20,000 kilometers, strengthening major pipelines including the West-East and Sichuan-East Gas Pipelines.
