Woofun AI reports that Google Finance has concluded its beta testing phase and launched globally, accompanied by a new Android mobile application. The platform enables users to manage investment portfolios via the web, supporting automatic imports of existing Google Finance data, CSV or PDF reconciliation statements, position screenshots, and text-based record generation. Built-in AI research tools allow for the analysis of underrepresented sectors and the evaluation of fixed income impacts on long-term growth.
The service introduces the "Backstage Briefing" feature, permitting users to define personalized market monitoring tasks through text, such as daily pre-market updates on cryptocurrency volatility. The system retrieves relevant data and generates scheduled briefings, pushing notifications to Android or iOS devices while allowing task management via the web panel. The Android app provides real-time watchlists, market data, and an AI-driven "Key Moments" function that explains individual stock price movements. Google intends to migrate web-based portfolio and briefing capabilities to the mobile app in the coming months and release an iOS version within the year.
