Woofun AI reports that attackers are increasingly leveraging artificial intelligence to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in legacy smart contracts. Recent incidents include a $1.5M loss from the 7-year-old Token of Power contract on June 9, a $200,000 loss from the 3-year-old WUSD.fi contract on May 25, and over $4M in losses from the 2-year-old Aztec Network contracts on June 14 and 18. GoPlus Security states that traditional auditing is insufficient for these assets and recommends adopting AI-based Always-on Audit services to balance cost, reliability, and rapid security checks.
