Woofun AI reports that Metal, a settlement network for tokenized financial products, has closed its seed financing round. The round was co-led by Airwallex and Capital49, with Airwallex also serving as the first design partner.

Co-founded by former Ren Protocol leader Loong Wang and ex-Libra partnerships head Catherine Porter, Metal intends to establish institutional-grade full-stack infrastructure. The platform natively supports AI agents, authentication, and authorization, while offering global withdrawal and recharge services across 200 countries and 90 currencies.
