Woofun AI reports that Breez has integrated a new capability into its developer toolkit, enabling users to transmit USDC and USDT directly from their Bitcoin holdings to more than 30 blockchain networks. This functionality bypasses the requirement for prior asset conversion or stablecoin custody.

The mechanism leverages the Lightning Network alongside an automated conversion protocol. Upon inputting a recipient address, the Breez SDK determines the target chain, computes the optimal route, and presents transaction details including fees before confirmation. Liquidity providers such as Flashnet and Boltz facilitate the exchange of Bitcoin into stablecoins for delivery on the selected network. The process remains non-custodial, allowing senders to retain Bitcoin exposure while recipients obtain stablecoins. Initial deployment supports outbound transfers only, with inbound support scheduled for future updates.
