Woofun AI reports that Binance Japan has appointed Ayasa Toyosaki as its new General Manager and Representative Director, effective July 1, 2026. The former executive, Takeshi Kano, has been reassigned to the positions of Honorary Chairman and Director to continue providing strategic guidance.

Toyosaki holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics from Northwestern University. Her professional background includes serving as a derivatives trader at UBS Hong Kong, leading Search and AR Business at Google Japan, and founding the DeFi project Cega in 2022, which was sold in 2025. She was also recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
