Woofun AI reports that Oxmiq has finalized a $35 million financing round dedicated to developing specialized chip architecture for artificial intelligence. The capital will advance design and system optimization to enhance computing efficiency while lowering training and inference expenses.

The company intends to merge Graphics Processing Units, Central Processing Units, and a Tensor Engine into a single chip design. Co-founder Raja Koduri stated the goal is to emulate Arm's role in the next-generation computing ecosystem.

Additionally, Oxmiq plans to create a "Computational Fabric" architecture that integrates multiple chiplets and memory within a unified package.
