Woofun AI reports that EtherFi has submitted a Temp Check proposal to deploy an exclusive white-label Aave V4 instance on the OP Mainnet. This infrastructure will serve as the credit backend for the EtherFi Cash Visa card product, replacing the existing Debt Manager system.
The proposed instance will share liquidity and market isolations with the main Aave protocol. EtherFi will manage configuration, risk parameters, liquidity, and operations, while Aave provides deployment licenses and receives 20% of reserve factor income. The plan includes integrating GHO, deploying GHO GSM on OP Mainnet, and introducing up to $175 million in assets at launch, with EtherFi Cash designated as the exclusive user. Following at least five days of community feedback, the proposal may enter the ARFC phase, targeting deployment in July 2026.
