Hong Kong AUM Surges 20% to Record $5.4T with 193% Inflow Growth

Woofun AI data shows that Hong Kong's total assets under management rose 20% year-on-year to a historic high of HK$42.2 trillion (US$5.4 trillion) in 2025. This expansion was fueled by net fund inflows that surged 193% to HK$2.1 trillion (US$265 billion), continuing a three-year upward trend.

The asset management and fund advisory segment saw AUM increase 19% to HK$31 trillion (US$4 trillion), while private banking and wealth management AUM jumped 24% to HK$12.9 trillion (US$1.7 trillion). Authorized fund net asset value grew 38% to HK$2.3 trillion (US$292 billion), and licensed asset management institutions increased 7% to 2,358.
