Woofun AI reports that Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has committed $1.75 billion to facilitate EQT AB’s expansion of artificial intelligence infrastructure. The investment targets EdgeConneX, an EQT subsidiary, which intends to deploy more than 10 gigawatts of data center capacity in the coming years to address rising AI computing requirements.
