South Korea Exchange Crypto Additions Drop 74% YoY in H1

Woofun AI data shows that South Korea’s five major exchanges added a net total of 49 new cryptocurrencies in the first half of the year, representing a 74% year-on-year decline from 191 additions. While new launches dropped 44% to 117, delistings surged 258% to 68. Upbit increased its net additions to 45, whereas Bithumb, Coinone, and Korbit recorded net reductions. Gopax was the sole exception, increasing additions to 15 with zero delistings.
