Woofun AI reports that EthLabs founder Barnabé Monnot released the "Week 2" update, outlining advancements in interoperability, PropAMMs, and funding. The team prioritizes "zk-based asynchronous interoperability" to enhance cross-chain security and native asset distribution within the Ethereum multilayer network. While latency persists in L2→L1 paths, the intents mechanism serves as a transitional solution, aided by L1 liquidity for solver matching. Conversely, the L1→L2 path aims to reduce confirmation latency via the Fast Confirmation Rule (FCR), which clients are currently integrating.
In ecosystem developments, PropAMMs have emerged as a focal point for optimizing L1 execution efficiency and transaction construction. ENS is designated as "critical Ethereum infrastructure", with active stakeholder engagement underway. Regarding operations, EthLabs has received over 300 applications, processed approximately 20%, and targets short-term expansion to 10 members and mid-term growth to 20, focusing on engineering and domain expertise. The current funding round is nearing completion, having secured early support from BitMNR, Sharplink, and Ethereum Joseph, with plans to onboard 1–2 core investors for the next stage.
