2026-07-06 10:54

Woofun AI reports that the 'Ill Bloom' wallet generation vulnerability continues to be exploited, resulting in approximately $5 million in stolen or transferred funds. Attackers have compromised hundreds of accounts since May 27, with recent activity showing $3 million stolen initially and an additional $2 million moved in the last few hours.

The flaw affects wallets on Bitcoin, Ethereum, L2 networks, Tron, and Solana, with vulnerable keys still being generated as recently as weeks ago. Coinspect Security has released a detection tool and urged providers to implement weak mnemonic phrase checks to mitigate ongoing risks to thousands of remaining accounts.
