Woofun AI reports that TrendForce has substantially increased its first-quarter 2026 price projections for DRAM and NAND Flash products. The research firm attributes this adjustment to an intensifying global storage supply-demand imbalance fueled by AI and data center requirements, which allows OEMs to maintain strong pricing power. Consequently, the forecast for Conventional DRAM contract prices was raised from an initial 55-60% quarter-over-quarter increase to a new range of 90-95%. Similarly, NAND Flash contract price expectations were adjusted upward from 33-38% to 55-60% QoQ, with potential for further revisions.
