Woofun AI reports that ENS co-founder Alex Van de Sande submitted a formal draft on Monday to delegate 5 million ENS tokens from the DAO's idle community treasury to individual participants. The proposal aims to dismantle current governance concentration, noting that a single representative with sufficient quorum can execute proposals and veto the next 50 representatives' votes. These tokens originate from unclaimed shares of the original ENS airdrop five years ago; recipients cannot own or sell them. Van de Sande also suggested adding another 5 million tokens for delegation next year, revoking delegation after six months of inactivity, and terminating the arrangement after two years. This move addresses escalating disputes, including Nick Johnson using his voting power to block security committee renewal and Christoph Jentzsch suggesting the dissolution of the ENS DAO.
