Woofun AI reports that the United Nations Development Programme and the Stellar Development Foundation have executed a new agreement to advance their collaboration on blockchain-based digital payments. This partnership transitions from mature pilot projects to establishing permanent capabilities for UNDP country offices to utilize as standard implementation tools.

Coordinated by UNDP’s AltFinLab at its Istanbul regional center, the initiative focuses on creating institutional conditions for large-scale application rather than limited testing. The Stellar Development Foundation delivers technical advisory support, including network expertise and provider partnerships, while UNDP maintains responsibility for project delivery.
