Woofun AI reports that physical AI startup Mowito has closed a $3 million Pre-Seed funding round. The investment was led by Version One Ventures, with participation from All In Capital, Unisol, and iSeed. Angel investors included AI researcher Soumith Chintala and founders from Foundry Robotics, Coformer.ai, and Better Capital.
Founded in 2024 by Puru Rastogi, Adityanag Nagesh, and Safar V, Mowito develops foundational AI models for industrial robotic arms. Its technology allows robots to learn tasks through human demonstration rather than explicit programming, eliminating the need for engineers to rewrite control code when product lines change. The software operates on standard, unmodified industrial robots and serves automotive and electronics manufacturing clients. Proceeds will fund U.S. market expansion, team growth, and deeper deployment at manufacturing sites.
