Dunamu Tops South Korea Police Crypto Custody Bid With 94.14 Points

Woofun AI reports that Dunamu, operator of Upbit, secured the highest technical score in the bid to become the official custodian for virtual assets seized by the National Police Agency. The Public Procurement Service announced Dunamu as the preferred bidder for a contract valued at 267 million won, approximately $193,000.

Dunamu achieved a score of 94.14 points, surpassing Korea Digital Asset Custody (KDAC), which ranked second with 90.32 points among six applicants. The one-year agreement focuses on the secure storage and management of confiscated cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, during police investigations.
