Woofun AI reports that Intel has confirmed price increases for select consumer and server CPUs, attributing the adjustments to rising supply chain costs and demand outstripping supply. Consumer processor prices have risen by $30 to $50, while data center products face increases ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson stated in a client report that "given the ongoing supply shortage for server CPUs, we believe Intel still has room to raise prices without affecting demand," indicating the company retains pricing power despite market constraints.
