Woofun AI reports that global cross-border payment infrastructure provider Nium has acquired Cypher, a crypto-native non-custodial wallet and card issuer. The acquisition aims to integrate digital asset functionalities with Nium's global payment network to advance fiat-to-chain payment services.

Cypher's existing platform, including consumer applications, corporate card platforms, and the CYPR ecosystem, will undergo a gradual shutdown. Operations are scheduled to officially cease on September 6, 2026.
