Woofun AI reports that Raydium has finalized the deactivation of its legacy AcceleRaytor IDO program, which had been inactive since 2022. All user deposits and SOL funds allocated for fees have been returned to their original addresses. This action is part of ongoing security enhancements aimed at shutting down inactive legacy systems and reducing the protocol's attack surface. Previously, Raydium disclosed that its Legacy AMM V3 system, discontinued in 2021, suffered an exploit where attackers forged LP tokens to bypass proportion checks. The attack resulted in the illegal withdrawal of assets from five old liquidity pools, including 150,177 RAY tokens, 5,603 SOL coins, and 893,700 USDC tokens, totaling approximately $1.34 million in losses. The treasury will provide full compensation to the affected parties.
