Woofun AI reports that ispace stock climbed nearly 19% on Thursday, recording the highest single-day gain in six months following a partnership announcement with SpaceX. The collaboration utilizes Starship rockets to deliver payloads to the Moon, supporting a mobile cargo system designed to transport up to 500 kilograms across the lunar surface. This system is scheduled for launch no earlier than 2030, with ispace having already secured 500 kilograms of payload capacity.

CEO Takeshi Kuroda stated, "There is significant potential demand for transportation services, and this is exactly the opportunity we want to seize." He further committed to ensuring the success of the next landing attempt, following previous failures in 2023 due to software issues and in 2025 due to hardware problems. The company plans to launch an orbital satellite in 2027, preceding the next lunar landing mission scheduled for 2028.
