Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, a vocal advocate for the crypto industry and early investor in Terraform Labs, has pursued policies aiming for crypto mining and trading to comprise nearly one-third of the nation's GDP. Cottrell’s firm, Geostrategy, maintains offices in Montenegro and is alleged to have supported Spajić’s election campaign, claims his lawyers deny.

Meanwhile, the Reform Party seeks to transform the UK into a crypto hub through regulatory reforms, with Harborne serving as one of its largest donors.
