This policy shift removes barriers for acquiring advanced technologies, including AI semiconductors and commercial satellites, citing UAE support in anti-Iran efforts.

The adjustment enables UAE firms to finalize planned purchases of advanced AI chips from NVIDIA, AMD, and Cerebras Systems. Under an agreement reached over a year ago, these suppliers will deliver thousands of processors to G42 for deployment in a new regional AI data center.
