US Eases UAE Export Controls, Enabling AI Chip Sales
2026-07-11 08:06

Woofun AI reports that the U.S. Department of Commerce will issue a notice next week confirming relaxed export controls for the United Arab Emirates. This policy shift removes barriers for acquiring advanced technologies, including AI semiconductors and commercial satellites, citing UAE support in anti-Iran efforts.

The adjustment enables UAE firms to finalize planned purchases of advanced AI chips from NVIDIA, AMD, and Cerebras Systems. Under an agreement reached over a year ago, these suppliers will deliver thousands of processors to G42 for deployment in a new regional AI data center.
