OCEAN Upgrades Backend to Handle Bitcoin BIP 110 Forks
2026-07-14 09:20

Woofun AI reports that Bitcoin mining pool OCEAN has announced a backend upgrade designed to independently track multiple chains in the event of a BIP 110 fork. Should a fork occur, DATUM miners will automatically persist on the chain executed by their nodes, while OCEAN records rewards in the fork share log according to existing service terms. The pool will effectively function as two separate entities from the fork point, with updated terms to be published before block 961,632.
