Sablier Labs Enters Maintenance Mode Until June 2028 Amid Revenue Decline
2026-07-14 09:53

Woofun AI reports that Sablier Labs has ceased active product development, entering maintenance mode through June 2028. Existing services remain operational while smart contracts continue running on-chain, with the interface becoming an open-source public product.

Founder Paul Razvan Berg attributed the shift to significant declines in usage and revenue during Q1 2026, driven by market conditions delaying client launches and AI-assisted coding reducing replication costs. Despite attempts at locked NFTs and customized Rollups, the team concluded that on-chain token distribution lacks independent business opportunities at venture capital scale. Core smart contracts have been transitioned from BUSL to GPL licensing.
