Woofun AI reports that OpenClaw released an update on July 1, 2026, integrating native chat and session management into its macOS client. This iteration expands beyond previous menu bar controls to offer a comprehensive desktop experience, enabling users to search history, switch models, utilize slash commands, and export logs.

New installations will default to GPT-5.6, while existing configurations remain unchanged. The update also introduces support for Claude Sonnet 5, Mythos 5, and Meta Muse Spark 1.1.

Additionally, iOS and Android clients now feature offline session caching, and Apple Watch supports direct voice queries and response playback.
