Woofun AI reports that SoftBank Group founder Masayoshi Son stated global artificial intelligence infrastructure will necessitate $50 trillion in annual investment by 2040. This capital allocation aims to support the expansion of data centers, power supply networks, and humanoid robots, facilitating a shift from human-centric work models to new operational frameworks.

Son indicated that the evolution toward "artificial superintelligence" (ASI) will generate sufficient revenue to validate these expenditures. He asserted that AI will fundamentally transform lives, stating, "this transformation will bring profits."
