Woofun AI reports that SK Hynix has commenced mass production and shipment of its 12-layer HBM4 memory modules for NVIDIA. This marks the first instance of HBM4 shipments featuring final specifications and completed quality certifications, distinguishing them from prior sample deliveries. The components are designated for NVIDIA's next-generation AI platform, "Vera Rubin."

Starting in September this year, SK Hynix will formally increase HBM4 shipment volumes to satisfy the supply requirements for NVIDIA's high-end computing chips.
