Woofun AI reports that SK Hynix has commenced mass production and shipment of its 12-layer HBM4 memory modules, marking the first instance of final-specification units with completed quality certifications. Unlike prior sample deliveries, these products are designated for NVIDIA's next-generation AI platform, 'Vera Rubin'.

The company plans to significantly expand HBM4 shipment volumes starting in September to satisfy NVIDIA's high-end computing chip supply requirements.
