Woofun AI reports that SK Hynix American Depositary Receipt options commenced trading on U.S. exchanges on Tuesday. By 10:25 am New York time, total volume reached approximately 33,000 contracts, with over two-thirds concentrated in short-term instruments expiring this Friday.

The most active contract was the $185 strike call option, recording roughly 2,900 contracts, followed by the $145 strike put. The August-expiring $200 call also saw significant interest with over 1,500 contracts. Piper Sandler’s Daniel Kirsch noted expectations for strong demand in short-term bullish options, particularly Friday-expiring calls, as retail investors likely enter the market anticipating further price appreciation.
