Woofun AI reports that Coinbase Head of Platform Rob Witoff stated 95% to 100% of the company's code is now written or assisted by Large Language Models, a significant increase from the 40% disclosed in February. Nearly all employees utilize AI daily, with internal prototyping achieving near-total automation while core cryptography retains human review.

Witoff noted that engineers currently manage 5 to 10 AI Agents simultaneously, performing work equivalent to 1,200 employees. This efficiency allows teams of 2 to 3 people to complete tasks previously requiring over 10. The company projects AI workload capacity could reach the equivalent of 100,000 employees by 2030, following a May layoff of approximately 700 staff members.
