Woofun AI reports that Coinbase platform head Rob Witoff stated 95% to 100% of the company's code is now assisted by AI or large language models, up from 40% in February. Each engineer runs 5 to 10 AI agents simultaneously, creating efficiency equivalent to 1,200 full-time developers.

This shift enabled smaller teams to handle projects previously requiring over 10 staff, contributing to a 14% workforce reduction in May. Coinbase projects AI agent workload will reach the equivalent of 100,000 employees by 2030.
