Woofun AI reports that Apple is reportedly seeking to acquire an artificial intelligence chip company. The in-house M2 Ultra chip has been found inadequate for handling advanced AI workloads, compelling the firm to rely on Nvidia.

Additionally, the Apple AI server chip "Baltra" was originally scheduled to ship later this year but has been delayed.
