Summer.fi Suspends Services After $6.04M Attack on Lazy Summer Protocol
2026-07-15 23:59

Woofun AI reports that Summer.fi has suspended its services and announced the shutdown of its parent company, Labs, after the Lazy Summer Protocol suffered an attack on July 6. Attackers manipulated prices of two USDC Vault shares on Ethereum mainnet, stealing approximately $6.04 million in deposits through a single transaction, which depleted operating capital and damaged both protocol and team funds. Citing no viable restructuring options amid broader DeFi pressures, the team will maintain the Summer.fi interface availability until August 31.
