Anthropic Plans October IPO with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Leading Roadshows

Woofun AI reports that Anthropic is coordinating management meetings with prospective investors to assess interest ahead of its initial public offering. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan are facilitating these preparations, though the formal roadshow and offering have not yet begun. An October listing remains the earliest potential timeline, subject to change.

The company confidentially filed listing documents with the SEC in June, omitting details on issuance size and price. In May, Anthropic secured $65 billion in funding, establishing a post-investment valuation of $965 billion and exceeding OpenAI's $852 billion valuation for the first time. If current plans hold, Anthropic may list before OpenAI, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley deploying separate teams for each deal to prevent information crossover.
