Samsung Galaxy Z8 High-Capacity Models Face 120,000 Won Hike Amid Memory Shortage

Woofun AI reports that persistent memory supply constraints driven by artificial intelligence demand are pressuring smartphone manufacturers including Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi in the second half of the year. Samsung Electronics' upcoming Galaxy Z8 series, launching this month, is expected to maintain its 256GB base model price at approximately 3.05 million won.

However, the 512GB and 1TB variants may see increases of around 120,000 won each, a strategy designed to shield entry-level pricing while offsetting costs for higher-capacity storage.
